Google tries location based social networking with it’s new app Google Latitude. While I’m not sure I want to know where all my friends are at any one time it does use some quite cool technology on both SmartPhones and your notebook (via wireless location) to work out where you are.
And in the “they would be” vein…
But privacy campaigners said they were appalled by the idea…
